I like The Catcher …
I like The Catcher in the Rye, Life of Pi, The God of Small Things
P.S. “Of Mice and …
P.S. “Of Mice and Men” is supposed to be about the American Dream which the two guys aim for fruitlessly. It’s a much deeper novel than you believe it to be.
Steinbeck is …
Steinbeck is brilliant, but you seem to have read only his short novels; try “Grapes of Wrath”. Maybe we’ve got different tastes: I couldn’t get on with “Dandelion Wine”.
such a sweet guy:)
such a sweet guy:)
I just started …
I just started reading “East of Eden” by John Steinbeck and Its not great… I have to agree with you on Steinbeck being a bit messed up….
It’s pronounced ” …
It’s pronounced “cri-ton”, even though it is spelled Crichton.
The Andromeda Strain was reeeeeeaaaaally good. I liked Next, too (another of his). I haven’t read the Jurassic Park book(s?), but the movies were good.
i always thought it …
i always thought it was pronounced chrIc-ton
I’m glad you …
Catcher in the Rye is another must read, if I didn’t mention it in this video. I made this ages ago, after all.
I’m glad you enjoyed it
Ah, don’t worry …
Ah, don’t worry about it. We all make mistakes, eh? I thought the name Esther was pronounced like ‘ess-the’. Haha. (:
I liked the video, by the way. Watching it has led me to decide to read The Life of Pi and 1984 once I’ve finished Pride and Prejudice. (: Thankies!
I know, and I was …
I know, and I was kicking myself for this afterward… makes me feel like an ignorant fool. Maybe I am.
lol, I was about to …
lol, I was about to point this out too.
Its pronouned …
Its pronouned Cri-ton not crich-ton. I know its spelled that way but haven’t you heard his name enough in the media to know that? hes only one of the more famous sci-fi authors. don’t mean to be sarcastic but I was just surprised, thats all.
So true.
So true.
it is really hard …
it is really hard to understand you.

It’s good that …
It’s good that you’re reading so much. Fewer and fewer people are reading these days.

You only really …
You only really understand Hyperion when you’ve read the sequel. The first book is like a book-length intro for the things to come in the next.
Dandelion WIne, Im …
Dandelion WIne, Im reading it in my english class.
I am in love with it.
Ray Bradbury is amazing.
He writes amazing stories.

I like 1984 a lot
it’s one of my favorite books
more people should read books lol
haha, “Steinbeck is …
haha, “Steinbeck is still my least favorite author.” Yeah I have to agree, I hate steinbeck.
Cusp sounds like a bad premise, but I haven’t read it.
I’d like to read 1984, I’ve never got around to it yet.
I hate Crichton, I no longer read him, mostly because everything he writes reads like a movie script. And I have to say, I like Crichton movies, but not his books… I mean there is a reason I read books.
I didn’t really get into Hyperion, the over theme seemed to meander.
