Acura MDX. Since its introduction in 2001 the Acura MDX has received acclaim for its comfortable ride, respectable off-pavement capability and manageable size, while the criticism revolved around its generic styling. For the second-generation MDX, Acura kicked the styling up a notch while at the same time improving on-road performance with forward-thinking technology. Like its predecessor, the seven-passenger MDX remains a family-friendly SUV, but a new 300-horsepower V6 and bold, angular design add a feeling of aggression that wasn’t present before. Im a fan… One of my friends has one of these. But id take the Infiniti over this. The FX is more exciting to drive with a better sound. I like the Infiniti style better also. The MDX has a smoother ride than the FX though.

true off-roading= toyota landcruiser and land rover. i feel perfectly fine doing light off-roading on my 04 pilot, so im sure this brand new car can handle even more. but people buy this to drive on the highway and on regular roads. it looks beast, has a nice engine, great interior, and awsome quality.

I was very impressed by the Acura MDX when I was in the passenger seat. Very smooth and comfortable ride, navigation is excellent, and the DVD system is great! I would highly recomend this vehicle.
Infiniti FX35 …
Infiniti FX35 istill better and packs more technological bundles than the MDX. The keyless ignition system, Intelligent cruise control, VDC, lane departure warning system plus all standard features of the MDX is few of the features of the FX35. It even monitors your wheel pressure and other maintenance schedules!

I just like offroading, i need a vehicle that can be pounded on my way to work. My office is in a logging forest so understand I’m not about to drop 65 000 CAD$ on an offroad vehicle.

a single guy would be better off getting a the rdx if they want an suv. Actually my fave small suv is the subi forester it has the best handling of any of them. Infact subaru dominates the suv category with it’s forester and it’s “under the radar” tribeca it’s only a matter of time before the whole world realises how awesome subi’s are

It is like a subaru tribeca….exept more expensive. It has nearly the same amount of seating room as the tribeca…and I’d bet the tribeca handles just as well as this if not better.
