Den, I don’t disagree with you about Ford, but I had a 90 Honda Accord that was at 170,000 and still running. Of course time is against all guys and they will eventually start to have problems-No matter what car company you buy from. For all those that say Fords don’t last…. I have a 1994 Exporer with 180k (running strong). I owned a 95 Taurus that had over 200k, and an 83 f150 with 250k (still running). So while you think you know what you are talking about… you obviously don’t! I work on cars, and when a foreign car has issues, you better take out a loan to pay to get it fixed. Be American… BUY AMERICAN!

The toyota tundra …
The toyota tundra had problems with it’s cam shafts. Any car can have problems. And maybe some older cars aren’t assembled that well but any new ford is just as good as the imports.

Didn’t the third generation Taurus have huge engine problems pretty early on in its life? Something with the cam shafts..
I’ve also heard that a lot of their components are either poorly assembled or just poor in general.
They are making some pretty good looking vehicles now though. The 2010 Taurus SHO is pretty impressive.
