Ford Edge. Crossovers are the fastest growing vehicle segment in the U.S., overtaking traditional SUVs in sales and popularity. The Ford Edge embodies the appeal of this niche by offering the versatility of an SUV with improved maneuverability, ride comfort and fuel-efficiency. The Edge borrows some of the best design elements and features from Ford Motor Company’s storehouse. The Ford Fusion lends its three-bar chrome grill for a distinct first impression, while the car rides on a platform derived from the Mazda6. The Edge also shares engines and some suspension components with the Mazda CX-9. All of these elements and many more than are exclusive to Edge are wrapped up into a refined, confident, versatile vehicle. Waht. I like Chevy too. I really don;t care. I just love Ford because I actually found an affordable car that is old that I can have next year. I really like all car types. I want a BMW eventually. :) Sorry if that upsets ppl. But don;t hate me just because I have an opinion.

    @MrJy, Yes, some …
    @MrJy, Yes, some Ford cars are built in Canada o Mexico, but they are still built in Northamerica. I’m the proud of a Ford, the best american automaker.

  13. Den, I don’t …
    Den, I don’t disagree with you about Ford, but I had a 90 Honda Accord that was at 170,000 and still running. Of course time is against all guys and they will eventually start to have problems-No matter what car company you buy from. But I highly doubt the cars were running strong unless you put money into them to make them stay strong.

  20. For all those that …
    For all those that say Fords don’t last…. I have a 1994 Exporer with 180k (running strong). I owned a 95 Taurus that had over 200k, and an 83 f150 with 250k (still running). So while you think you know what you are talking about… you obviously don’t! I work on cars, and when a foreign car has issues, you better take out a loan to pay to get it fixed. Be American… BUY AMERICAN!

  23. its a mazda with a …
    its a mazda with a ford badge

  24. The toyota tundra …
    The toyota tundra had problems with it’s cam shafts. Any car can have problems. And maybe some older cars aren’t assembled that well but any new ford is just as good as the imports.

    Didn’t the third …
    Didn’t the third generation Taurus have huge engine problems pretty early on in its life? Something with the cam shafts..
    I’ve also heard that a lot of their components are either poorly assembled or just poor in general.
    They are making some pretty good looking vehicles now though. The 2010 Taurus SHO is pretty impressive.
