How much should i sell my 1/16 scale traxxas slash 4wd brushless for?

How much should i sell my 1/16 scale traxxas slash 4wd brushless for? hardly ever drive it. Would sell with upgraded battery and a charger i bought for $70 new. The car itself new is $250. any suggestions?

Depends on the condition.Where you putting it ebay? That’s your best bet.My Jato 3.3 is on the bay right now.So $250.00+$70.00=$320.00,figure on cutting that in 1/2 then ad $20 so set a reserve price at $180,start the bidding at $110 and see where it goes.See people don’t understand what they’re getting, they want to pay nothing. When us sellers are really taking a loss.If you’re not going the ebay route and selling it privately, like Craig’s list,or in the local paper, try and get as much as possible. If you take it to your local hobby shop it would be like me taking my real car,in my avatar as a trade in.They’d rob me.The hobby shop wants a % of what it sells for to advertise in their store. So i don’t suggest going that route. You can email me if you want, but i have sold some stuff on the bay, this might be the 2nd r/c car i’ll sell,IF the reserve is met,if not and the highest bidder comes 1/2 way close and i need the money, then i’ll email him/her and from there more bidding privately.Maybe let it go,maybe keep it.Hope i help but the general rule of thumb is,what you paid for it all, take that and 1/2 it,then ad a few dollars cause either way your gonna loose.

what is a name of a publishing company that publishes new authors?

i write YAFIC. books, and i would like to know the name of a company that publishes new authors. as well as books that are dodgey and use language. i know some companies but most of them only want clean books.

Most publishers also want people who know basic grammar and spell correctly.

Do you have an prior published material such as poems, short stories, etc?

You might want to look into submitting your work to literary journals first. However, you can pick up a copy of "Writer’s Market" (or you can go to the library and look at it there because it’s quite expensive.)

In that book you will find The names of publishers and editors and what they are looking for. http://www.writersmarket.com/

After you’ve browsed through the publishers…you have to learn how to write a great query letter/book proposal. Without one (and it has to be perfect) the editors won’t even consider you.

How do you get free video games from publishers?

I’ve noticed that certain people and blogs get video games early for free from various video game publishers. I would like to make a blog to review games. But what do I do in order to get games early from someone like Microsoft, Nintendo, or EA? Is there a place you register at?

there are only 2 ways to do this, they are either famous or have connections, for example with me my sister is a professional gamer and my aunt designed the game medal of honor so therefore i get a lot of video games "free" i can promise you that no company will just hand you a few new games for reviewing on a blog. in that case nothing would ever be new any joe could just ask for a game saying that he is a critic even though he is not. work your way up get people to notice you! start by reviewing games as they come out that’s when people want to know about them not before hand!

so Dr. house is right. No, for an ordinary person, i can guarantee you will find somebody with connections. in theory you know everyone in this world through six degrees of separation or less do some research on that.

What publishers are interested in publishing a non-fiction book on the psychological aspects of criminology?

I am writing a book about teenagers and young adults (primarily males) who commit terrible crimes: school shooters, serial killers, and mass murderers are some examples.

I am writing the book from the perspective of the psychological and sociological backgrounds of the perpetrators; this will not be a book detailing the crime itself; the thrust of the book is to understand why these men commit these crimes so that one can intervene and prevent others from doing so.

What publishers specialize in such books?

See if you can find a literary agent first, and then the agent will find a publisher for you. aaronline.org has a list of ethical agents, as does agentquery.com. If you can’t get an agent then there are some small publishers that take unsolicited manuscripts that publish non-fiction. I used to have a list of small publishers, but my computer went up in smoke, so I don’t have access to my bookmarks. You can also find a list of publishers at http://www.absolutewrite.com/forums under the Writer beware and background check section.
