    why dont modern movie makers invest in advancing real models ?
    If you’d do apply all modern technics to old ways you could get so beautyfull picture’s..

    Spielberg is so off base here. The lonliness he faces is the key. Shrinking beyond our recognition is so terrifying we;re unable to identif with it. The loneliness is unimagible.

    You need to see the monster otherwise it’s disappointing. Fake or not you need to see it. You then use your imaginition to accept it, which I cousl always manage.

    Cats used in sci fi? Where? Can’t think of any. Are these guys talking off the top of their hats? I SM was great because of the horrible situation he was facing. Shrinking forever, till infinity, and totally alone. Horrible.

    First Lucas complains that the bad thing about the THING is that you don’t see it. Then he says the BAD thing is that you don’t see it. These guys know how to make movies, but their common sense is absent. in truth you see it fine.
