    @deansparker Its not the mic he is using, its the tube down the side that goes in his mouth, its called a talk box, and as you make different sounds with your throat. It adds an effect so you can get wah and phaser just by using your mouth, another great use of this is on keep talking by pink floyd, you should check it out.
